Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Social Gaming Platform
Location: 100% Remote from Azerbaijan
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead a cutting-edge social gaming platform
project, ensuring seamless execution from planning to delivery. In this role, you will develop
project strategies, manage cross-functional teams, and oversee timelines, budgets, and quality
standards. You’ll serve as the primary client contact, providing regular updates and maintaining
strong relationships. With expertise in risk management, vendor coordination, and strategic
planning, you will drive project success while fostering a productive and motivated team.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Development:
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, resource allocation, andbudgetary needs.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and clients.
Team and Resource Management:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient execution of project tasks.
- Assign tasks, set clear expectations, and provide the necessary resources for successful task completion.
- Conduct weekly team meetings to discuss progress, address challenges, and provide actionable feedback.
Quality Assurance and Timeliness:
- Ensure all tasks and deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and adhere toagreed timelines.
- Implement quality control measures and oversee the proper execution of tasks toachieve project objectives.
Client Communication and Reporting:
- Prepare and deliver detailed project updates to clients every Friday, including status reports, milestones achieved, and next steps.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns and maintaining a strong working relationship.
Budget and Cost Management:
- Manage the project budget, ensuring optimal use of financial resources without compromising quality.
- Track expenditures, anticipate financial risks, and implement cost-effective solutions.
Deadline Management:
- Develop strategies to ensure the timely completion of project milestones and deliverables.
- Identify potential delays and proactively mitigate risks to adhere to planned timelines.
Vendor and Supplier Coordination:
- Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers as required, ensuring timely delivery of services and materials.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain effective communication with third-party providers.
Risk Management and Problem Solving:
- Identify potential risks throughout the project lifecycle and implement mitigation strategies.
- Resolve conflicts and challenges efficiently, minimizing impact on project progress.
Leadership and Motivation:
- Provide regular encouragement, guidance, and constructive feedback to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and productive working environment, promoting professional growth within the team.
Project Delivery:
- Ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and meets the planned and promised objectives.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to gather lessons learned and apply them to future initiatives.
Key Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably in social gaming, digital entertainment, or online services.
- Project & Team Management – Leading teams, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth execution.
- Strategic Planning – Defining project scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Communication & Stakeholder Engagement – Client updates, reporting, and teamcoordination.
- Budget & Cost Control – Managing financial resources and optimizing costs.
- Risk Management & Problem-Solving – Identifying risks and implementing solutions.
- Time & Quality Management – Ensuring high standards and on-time delivery.
- Vendor & Supplier Coordination – Negotiating contracts and overseeing third-party services.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with gamification mechanics, virtual currencies, and loyalty programs.
- Previous experience scaling a social gaming product from launch to profitability.
