Engineering Manager 

• Oversee and manage the day to day engineering activities, ensure compliance with company requirements, budget, quality, and HSE standards
• Ensure the appropriate engineering tools used throughout the design process
• Ensure technical issues resolved timely and with cost-effective solutions
• Perform administrative functions, such as reviewing or writing reports, provide the Deputy Project Manager with expenditures report, enforcing rules, and purchasing materials or services
• Ensure international engineering standards and best practices are adopted
• Ensure process and production facilities work meets the requirements
• Review and provide feedback on contract proposals and cost estimates received from contractors
• Closely work with project teams around costing and commercial oversight for projects
• Responsible for the management of document controller, Telecommunication, technical safety, instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, piping and process engineers
• Manages the development of the overall engineering department through recruiting, onboarding, training, and career development
• Directly supervise and manage the project engineering team and make sure that all tasks accomplished effectively and within the project schedule
• Develop & Maintain systems & procedures for continuous improvements
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities following the organization policies and applicable laws
• Performs other required by Deputy Project Manager tasks and duties

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

• BSc/MSc Engineering Degree or equivalent certification qualification in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• Strong understanding of Engineering Principles and Design Practices
• Good understanding of offshore Oil and Gas product facilities and operation
• Experience with large scale oil and gas projects
• Experience with onshore/offshore projects
• Experienced in the integration of occupational and process safety management into operations
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience including minimum 5 years experience in engineering supervisor or manager roles
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
• General knowledge with standard manufacturing practices and procedures
