Back-end Chapter Lead - Retail office

Birbank is looking for a Back-End Developer Chapter Lead to lead the development team in building and maintaining the bank’s back-end systems. This role is key in ensuring the design, development, and optimization of high-performance server-side applications, while driving innovation and technical excellence within the team. As the Chapter Lead, you will manage a group of back-end developers, helping them grow professionally while overseeing the technical quality and scalability of the bank’s back-end systems.

At least 4-5+ years of experience as a Java developer.

Management experience.

Strong knowledge of Java 8 and above.

Solid understanding of OOP, Design Patterns, and Microservice Architecture Patterns.

Experience with Restful services (Spring Boot).

Familiarity with CI/CD processes.

Experience working with RDBMS databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).

Basic knowledge of Linux is preferred.

Experience with web servers (Apache Tomcat) is preferred.

Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.

Experience with message brokers (Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.) is preferred.

Strong communication skills: fluent in Azerbaijani, good knowledge of English is a plus.
