We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA Engineer to join our Payments Journey tribe. As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality and reliability of our payment systems by designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class solutions.

• 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
• Strong understanding of software testing processes and SDLC
• Experience in backend and API testing
• Confident use of Postman / Swagger or similar tools
• Basic SQL knowledge (SELECT, JOIN, etc.)
• Experience with bug-tracking systems (Jira or similar)
• Understanding of client-server architecture
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with fintech, payment, or processing systems
• Understanding of card transaction flows, statuses and messaging
• Experience in test automation (any tools or frameworks)
• Experience testing high-load or distributed systems

• Analyze requirements and participate in feature discussions at early stages
• Prepare test documentation: test cases, checklists, test plans
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing
• Test REST APIs
• Work with logs and databases, analyze errors and defects
• Create, track, and maintain bugs in a bug-tracking system
• Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and DevOps engineers
• Contribute to improving QA processes within the team
