Linux Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Linux Engineer with a strong foundation in computer science, practical experience in Linux system administration and development, and a passion for solving complex technical problems. In this role, you will collaborate closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. You’ll take ownership of troubleshooting and resolving critical production issues, contributing to continuous improvements in system architecture and automation.

Proficiency in Linux operating systems administration, with an understanding of system internals.

Proficiency in shell environments and scripting, with a track record of automating tasks and processes.

Proficiency with configuration management tools like Ansible and Terraform.Experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi environments.

Proficiency in working with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch (EFK)Understanding of cloud services such as AWS, including architecture design and deployment.Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, and Elasticsearch for managing distributed systems

Troubleshooting skills for Linux operating systems, including performance tuning.Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities and a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively across various teams.Certifications are a plus.

Provide troubleshooting, optimization, and support for Linux operating systems.Develop and maintain shell scripts and automation tools to streamline system administration tasks and enhance operational efficiency.

Support performance tuning for the bank’s technology stack components, including ElasticSearch, Kafka, Redis, Kubernetes, Keycloak, Infinispan, Haproxy, etc.

Assist in architecting, deploying, and managing infrastructure configurations using Ansible and Terraform, leveraging infrastructure as code principles. Work with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi for managing and optimizing virtualized environments.

Participate in designing and implementing containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes, including container orchestration and scaling.

Work with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch (EFK) for system health observation, performance, and logging.

Assist in managing and deploying cloud infrastructure on AWS, optimizing resource usage and scalability.

Support the development and maintenance of high-performance, distributed systems using Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Elasticsearch.
