Main Responsibilities

9. Teaching Young Learners
10. Online English Classes.
11. Exams organized by The State Examination Center (Dövlət İmtahan Mərkəzi)
12. Conversation Classes

Teachers need to assist in all aspects of center's programs and activities. Teachers must always provide a positive and supportive environment for the students, monitor student progress closely, and maintain a professional relationship with parents and other staff members. Teachers will also play a significant role in the marketing activities run by the center.

General Responsibilities:

- Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment
- Be familiar with the center curriculum in order to make suggestions for student placement
- Cooperate with the Center Manager and Head Teacher in ensuring constructive communication and efficient operation of the center that creates a cohesive culture and working environment
- Substitute for absent colleagues (this may be at short notice and off-site)
- Be familiar with the administrative procedures employed in the center and as directed by head office
- Take part in two training sessions per term to keep up to date with current developments
- Assist in marketing activities and promotions.
- Meet weekly with the Head Teacher and center colleagues to discuss student progress and strategies

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree
- Degree in Education and English preferred
- TEFL certificate preferred but not required
- Native English speaker preferred but non-native candidates with fluent English and clear accent can also be considered
- At least two years of postgraduate work experience
- Candidates who are already in Azerbaijan preferred
- Fluency in oral and written English
- Energetic, fast learner and an excellent team player
- Patient, self-motivated and passionate in teaching
