As an Analytics Intern, you will contribute to bridging data-driven insights with strategic decision-making across the organization. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining data processing workflows, conducting and automating reporting and dashboard development, and performing data validation and sense-checking in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

You will also support dependency management and stakeholder coordination, while evaluating the performance of products and business verticals through analytical insights.

This role offers a unique opportunity to apply both technical and interpersonal skills, strengthening your domain expertise through real-world, hands-on experience.

This role targets candidates with demonstrated analytical capability and practical experience using industry-standard tools. It is not intended for entry-level profiles.

Professional Background

·    Prior experience (internship or full-time) in analytics, finance, banking, consulting, or a related quantitative field is an asset

·    Proven experience working with real datasets in a business or operational context

·    Academic background in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Technical Skills (Must-Have by Start Date)

·    Advanced Excel skills, including data modeling, structured analysis, and complex formulas

·    Strong SQL proficiency for querying, joining, and validating large datasets

·    Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau for building analytical dashboards

·    Working knowledge of R and (or) Python for data analysis, automation, or statistical work is an asset

·    Ability to independently clean, validate, and interpret data without close supervision

Analytical & Business Acumen

·    Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect data outputs to business outcomes

·    Understanding of financial and performance metrics commonly used in banking or financial services

·    Ability to assess trends, compare scenarios, and support data-driven recommendations

• Designing and maintaining structured datasets and analytical outputs to support business and financial decision-making
• Developing dashboards, reports, and analytical views to monitor performance across products, portfolios, and business verticals
• Conducting exploratory and deep-dive analyses to identify trends, risks, and performance drivers
• Performing data quality checks, reconciliation, and validation in coordination with data owners and business stakeholders
