Code Security Developer

• Ingest product requirements, define technical requirements, and design practical, iterative technology designs that achieve the goal while fitting into our overall technical and product roadmaps
• Creating, and enforcing standards, patterns and practices for effective development.
• Personally develop and deploy services creating and supporting our overall architecture -- Knowledge Graph API, Knowledge Graph Edits and Change Service, Entity Resolution Service, Trusted Network Services, Trusted Shipment Services, etc.
• Analyze and propose technical solutions to invent, enable, and enhance our product offerings
• Be responsible for automating, testing, and deploying your work
• Collaborate with fellow engineers and security analysts across the organization
• Writes clean, maintainable, and testable code for complex projects.
• Independently tests and advises the rest of the team on quality of tests.
• Can effectively troubleshoot / debug code issues either individually or assisting others in reaching a resolution
• Displays a clear technical confidence and depth of knowledge, but capable of listening to and understanding other viewpoints
• Understands the importance of security and starts to see work through a security lens.
• Capable of understanding impact of code changes within an application and its external dependencies

• BS degree in any profession
• 5+ years of real-world professional experience writing back end or data-driven software in demanding environments
• Engineering excellence, clean code, and knowledge-sharing
• Experience with Python Web toolsets (Django, Flask)
• Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Azure or GCP
• CI/CD automation, as well as Git for version control
