Billing Specialist

We’re looking for a Billing Specialist to join our growing team!

Your key objective:
Ensure accurate and timely billing, maintain clean billing records, and support the finance team with invoicing and billing operations.

Job responsibilities

  • Prepare, issue, and verify invoices (pricing, plans, discounts, taxes, and billing terms).
  • Manage recurring billing cycles and handle adjustments, proration, refunds, and credit/debit notes when needed.
  • Reconcile billing data with internal systems (CRM/ERP) and payment platforms; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Track invoice statuses and payments; support accounts receivable follow-ups and customer billing inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate billing documentation and support audit requests when required.
  • Prepare regular billing reports (revenue, outstanding balances, collections status) and share insights with the finance team.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation of billing workflows.

Skills and abilities

  • 1+ year of experience in billing / finance operations / accounting / AR (or a strong analytical background).
  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy with numbers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP).
  • Ability to work with deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with billing operations such as proration, refunds, prepayments, and credit/debit notes.
  • Experience working with recurring billing models and manual billing adjustments.
  • Understanding of basic billing controls, reconciliations, and invoice accuracy checks.
  • Experience supporting finance or accounting teams with operational billing tasks.
  • F3 certification is a plus.

Working hours
4 days a week in the office, 10 am to 7 pm, with Fridays being flexible.
 (Lunch break: 1:00 pm–2:00 pm)

Salary: Competitive and negotiable based on experience and skills.
