Key Functions
• Develops, implements and sustains a consistent solicitation program focusing on increasing business, while fostering relationships for the special corporate and local catering market.
• Develops and manages relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
• Responsible for the development of the respective sales plan and revenue targets.
• Creates value for customers.
• Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence);
• Prepares weekly activity forecasts and schedule resources accordingly;
• Analyzes market information by using sales systems and implements strategy to achieve property’s financial corporate room and local catering goals.
• Participates actively in sales strategy meetings together with Revenue Management.
• Key financial responsibilities: Special Corporate segment, Local Catering.
• Reviews sales and catering guest satisfaction results to identify areas of improvement;
• Meets with guests during pre- and post-convention meetings to obtain feedback on quality of product (e.g., rooms, meeting facilities and equipment, food and beverage), service levels, execution against contract and overall satisfaction.

Job Requirements
• 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major;
• 2 years’ experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area;
• Strong analytical and organizational skills;
• Results oriented and focused on continuous process improvement;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Must have the ability to anticipate guest needs, change goals and direction quickly and multitasking is essential to succeed in this role.
